Here is what you need to know about the job: We are a small startup international team based in Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, and Shanghai, for toddler brand meroware. In Japanese, “mero メロメロ” describes that crazy moment of falling totally in love at first sight. Born in 2018 in Japan, mero is named from our love for beautiful design.

Overview
In charge of coordinating sales and marketing endeavours for the brand you will execute strategy to create customer loyalty, consumption and long-term business results. You will work in close collaboration with the mero management team on the sales and marketing roadmap, with activities and initiatives informed by each market. In addition, you will be expected to interact and engage with a dynamic, international, cross- functional team/stakeholders in Hong Kong, US, Australia, and other global endeavours to ensure the roadmap is implemented effectively.
The ideal candidate will bring an amicable track record in retail sales environment, brand management/activation or marketing experience for strong brands. They will have good business acumen and strong interpersonal and communication skills. We will train, what we really need is someone who possesses a flexible and independent mindset, who can understand different customer parenthood cultures and thrives in a fast, ever-changing environment. Most importantly, someone able to share our passion for our brand and customer first strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and carrying out sales and marketing campaigns to support business goals and achieve KPIs
Assist in monitoring and manage budgets to achieve sales and marketing objectives
Manage dayday order operations and actively communicate with customers to ensure positive customer purchasing journey.
Conduct regular market research and initiate research analysis, recommendations, propose action plans including but not limited to products, packaging, brands, competitor strategies etc for marketing and design team
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of each campaign and activities
Assist in managing social media, influencers, and e-commerce platforms
Prepare and update the content of sales and marketing materials
Assist in replenishing consignment inventories at assigned retailers location
Assist in quality and stock management before leaving to customers
Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure all marketing campaigns can be effectively executed
Maintaining a memorable customer service experience throughout all social media channels and crowdfunding projects
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
Diploma or post graduate certificate in Business or related field; High School certificate holders with substantial years of related experience will be considered
Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing and sales coordination, customer service, or marketing support function. Preferably within the fashion, or household product industry
Prior experience in retail customer service is highly preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin; Good command of both written and spoken English is a must.
Extrovert and sociable who love meeting new people and enjoy sharing the joy of playing with products, collaborative, resourceful and the willingness to grow and learn within the organisation
Occasional travel is required
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above, Sales, Business or Marketing related discipline a plus
3-5 years or more experience with a track record in retail sales, marketing, brand management, experience within the fashion or household product industry a plus.
Hands on commercial experience; able to work with big data to determine and develop brand- related activities/programs
Prior work experience and exposure to Greater Asia and Global markets as well as crowdfunding will be highly advantageous
Passion and thrive in a challenging, start-up environment with an innovative, flexible and ‘builder’ mindset
Able to work and influence cross- functionally with sales and design team to develop specific plans or activities to address different challenges at brand/customer levels
Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to create English content as well as handle customer inquiries and provide memorable customer service.
Fluency in MS Office and Google Business Suite (Google Drive, Google Documents) and keenly familiar with social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, 小紅書)
This position is open to individuals currently residing in Taiwan who are Taiwanese citizens and/or permanent residents. Monthly salary on offer is NT$35,000 with performance bonuses three times a year and full benefits are provided as per Taiwan labour laws.
